Christi Andropolis, a former member of ‘Heirloom’
and ‘Nandobinyan’, is a fiddler and singer whose musical
influences range from the Appalachians to the UK, exploring
connections between different folk genres. With a flair for
traditional Scottish and English fiddling, she has become a new
voice for transatlantic roots music. Since moving to the UK,
Christi has appeared at notable venues such as Celtic Connections,
The Sage Gateshead, and Sidmouth Folk Week, and has performed and
recorded alongside such influential musicians as Catriona MacDonald,
Karen Tweed, and Alistair Anderson. Also a a festival workshop
coordinator, her dynamic fiddling, expressive vocals and stage
charisma have given her the reputation of being an exciting and
engaging performer.

Ann
Janish-Schieder began her
career in Buffalo NY performing at numerous coffeehouses and
nightclubs with many different groups. She has recorded
with the Jazzabels and Carl Theil. Ann is also lead singer
and front for ‘The Dreaming’, an all-original band based in
Buffalo with three CDs to their credit and reputation as a fine
opening act for such groups as the Strawbs. Ann was nominated in
the best female singer category of the Buffalo Music Awards
both in 2003 and 2004. Apart from her busy music performance
schedule, Ann has found time to take on theatrical leading roles and
is a public school music instructor in Buffalo.

Randy Andropolis is
Wyndsmyth's multi-instrumental coordinator & arranger. He formerly held the
same role in the popular traditional Celtic group
'Heirloom', a favorite at Northeast U.S. Celtic festivals,
with five CDs and UK tour in its resume. A former studio
arranger, published songwriter & veteran of many bands of
different genre, Randy has worked on countless professional
recording projects, theater events, produced solo albums and
served as US liaison for Green Linnet artists Cuig. Having
studied at St. Louis Institute of Music with master classes
at Julliard, Randy works as a community music school
administrator. He also coordinates music for Niagara
University Theater productions when enlisted. |

Randy and Ann
worked together previously in the trio 'Turnstyles' and on
Randy’s forthcoming solo album 'Last Picts', to be released
in 2008. Christi, who has recently released her first solo
effort, provides the fiddle work on 'Last Picts' as well.

David Newey
is a Hampshire born guitarist, singer and songwriter who has gained
a solid reputation in traditional and contemporary acoustic music.
In bands such as Arlen, Nandobinyan, and as a solo
act, David has performed all over the UK. His Festival appearances
have included Guildford, Sidmouth, Larmer Tree, Fareham, Gosport and
Broadstairs. David’s also played venues as diverse as the Royal
Concert Hall in Glasgow (in a Celtic Connections concert) and the
Troubadour in London, taking on folk clubs and theatres in between.
He’s guested with new acts such as The Devil’s Interval and Emily
Portman as well as toured with such stalwarts as Alistair Anderson.

Nick
Jendrowski, a
much-in-demand bass guitarist in the Western New York area for the
last eight years, originally hailed from Boston, where he was a
member of the Boston Blackouts. Nick also plays cello,
string bass and has participated in many county and statewide
orchestras and jazz bands, having studied with Jack Kulp and Gil
Pease. In addition to playing with local bands of many genres,
including the punk-rock Skags, he has also done considerable
theatre work from college productions to the prestigious
Lancaster Opera House, where he added his skills to recent
productions of Forever Plaid and Pippin. Christi and Randy linked
up with Nick at an autumn 2006 production of the Fantasticks.
